Lemon Grass has a particular aroma which gives distinctive flavour to any dish if added. Today will like to share a chicken curry recipe with basic ingredient as lemon grass which is very healthy nutritious and low in calories .Which goes very well with steamed rice and some spare time with your loved ones.
Ingredients : 400 g Boneless chicken cut into small pieces,
For Marination – Lemon Grass 1 tablespoon finely chopped, 1 tablespoon garlic finely chopped, 3 to 4 Lime Leaves roughly chopped, 1 tablespoon green chilly finely chopped, Salt to taste,1 teaspoon pepper powder, 1 teaspoon oil.
For cooking -1 Tablespoon cooking oil, 1 tablespoon coriander Leaves finely chopped, few basil leaves roughly chopped, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder , 1 Cup Chicken Stock (If stock is not available use Luke warm Water )

Method : Firstly marinate the chicken for about 30 minutes adding all the ingredients listed above for marination . Put a pan on medium flame and add the chicken along with the marinate,sauté the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes adding dash of salt , turmeric powder,chopped coriander, Basil and chicken Stock .Lower the flame and let the dish cook for few more minutes until the gravy thickens a bit and chicken is tender and soft .Serve the hot chicken curry with steamed rice .
