Panna cotta an Italian Desert comes from words ” cooked cream” . Its delicious creamy texture gives you a delightful flavour . It can be teamed with many strong flavours , but today I have teamed it with its most common flavour which is vanilla .Try this recipe at home and surprise everyone.
Ingredients : 1 cup milk, 2 cups fresh cream, 1/4 cup sugar powder, 2 teaspoon vanilla extract (not essence ), 1 tablespoon gelatin powder.
Servings : 4
Method : take a pan, heat it on medium flame, add milk and cream stir well. Meanwhile take gelatin and soak it in luke warm water. Now add sugar and vanilla extract to the cream and milk mixture and stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
Put off the flame and pour the mixture into a clean bowl. add the gelatin and with the help of a egg beater mix the entire mixture very well so that gelatin completely dissolves leaving no lumps. Cool it at room temperature for 5 to 7 minutes and then pour the Panna Cotta mixture into desired moulds.refrigerate it for 3 to 4 hours until it settles well and garnish it with chocolate or coffee powder. Serve cold .
