I am back with yet another chicken recipe , this dish is a Chinese stir fry dish which can be eaten as a starter or appetiser or teamed up with a fried rice or noodles. Its simple recipe with lots of enticing flavours and very easy to prepare. Do try this recipe as I have tried keeping it healthy and less fattening.
Ingredients : 500 gm small boneless chicken pieces, 1 tablespoon corn starch (You may also use rice flour ), 1 tablespoon ginger and garlic paste, 1 tablespoon ginger juliennes,1 tablespoon garlic crushed, 2 to 3 green chillies chopped finely, 1 teaspoon red chilly flakes, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce, 2 tablespoon olive oil for stir frying and glazing chicken, salt to taste, 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup,1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds.
Method : Marinate chicken pieces with lemon juice , corn starch , 1 teaspoon olive oil , salt , ginger and garlic paste and chilly flakes. Keep the chicken mixed in these ingredients for about 1 hour. Heat a stir fry pan and add olive oil , green chillies, ginger juliennes, garlic crushed stir fry it for 1 minutes on high flame . Now add marinated chicken and cook it covered for 2 to 3 minutes. Once the chicken is cooked and vinegar, dark soy and tomato ketchup into the dish and stir fry on high flame for another 2 minutes. Add a little water and i tablespoon corn starch solution into it. Once the water thickens just the right consistency to only moisten the chicken switch of the flame. Pour the dish in a serving dish and sprinkle the roasted sesame seeds on top as a dressing. Eat this hot and enjoy the foggy winters.
