My very first recipe which I learnt a decade ago and I its still my favourite to binge on . I still remember how excited I was to cook this dish and treated all my friends and family. Those days it was difficult to get Italian ingredients and now its available at every nick ‘n’ corner of the streets. To dedicate my childhood and those self learning days here is a recipe very close to my heart. Simple yet so tasty.
Ingredients : 2 cups boiled macaroni, 1 cup chopped onions , 1 cup chopped capsicum, 1 large Tomato roughly chopped, 1 teaspoon crushed garlic,2 grated processed cheese, 1 green chilly chopped, 1/2 teaspoon freshly crushed black peppercorn,1/2 teaspoon chilly flakes,1 tablespoon tomato ketchup,1 teaspoon dry parsley, 1 teaspoon dry oregano , salt to taste, olive oil for cooking.
Servings : 4
Method : Heat olive oil in the pan stir in crushed garlic , green chillies , Onion, capsicum and roughly chopped tomatoes , sauté it for 2 to 3 minutes on high flame. Stir in salt, black peppercorn , hilly flakes, tomato ketchup, Dry parsley , dry oregano and boiled macaroni. Sauté it for another two minutes. Pour the macaroni in a baking dish sprinkle processed cheese on top and bake it till golden brown at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. serve hot .
