Garlic Chicken Hot Pot !!!


Its time to relax as weekend is approaching . Friday is a day to just eat good party hard get drunk and collapse on bed. I am sounding like a spoil  & mean drunker…lol. Jokes apart I am dead serious when I say we need to relax. So slogging in kitchen is not the idea of the week ,but  tummy is still hungerstrucked  . To cut the story shot lets try a quick easy Chinese dish which can be very tasty and yet effortless . Chinese  cuisine rules my mind whenever I need to just eat good with no complications involved. Its just Rocks ! So T.G.I.F. wind up your work fast and cook this one and have blast ….Enjoy your weekend !!!

Ingredients :  500 gm boneless chicken cut into small pieces and tabbed with a clean kitchen towel to get rid of moisture from the surface. 1 tablespoon garlic paste, 1 tablespoon ginger paste,  1 tablespoon freshly chopped garlic pods, 2 eggs beaten , 1/2 cup refined flour seasoned with 1 teaspoon pepper powder and 1 teaspoon garlic powder and salt.1 tablespoon corn starch, 1 cup diced onions, 4 to 5 dry red chillies, 1 teaspoon red chilly flakes, oil to shallow fry and cook, 1/2 tablespoon dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon green chilly sauce,1 teaspoon white vinegar, 1/2 tablespoon ketchup, 1 cup chicken stock, salt to taste.

Servings : 4 to 5

Method : Firstly coat the chicken pieces with corn starch ginger and garlic paste along wit salt. keep for 30 minutes and then dip each of  it in beaten egg and coat again with refined flour seasoned with black pepper powder salt and garlic powder. refrigerate it for 10 minutes so that the coating sticks to the chicken pieces and then shallow fry it in oil until it is tender and fully cooked. Keep it aside. Now heat oil in a pan on high flame saute red dry chillies and garlic for a minute and add onions . Saute for another 3 to 4 minutes and add salt and chilly flakes into it. Stir in chicken pieces pour in stock  all the sauces, ketchup  & white vinegar and cook for a minute or two. add in corn starch solution and cook until the gravy thickens. garnish it with red dry chillies and serve absolutely hot with your choice of rice or noodles .
