Its Friday eve….temperature rising ….humidity is optimum and I feel exhausted. I left from work early today …..enjoyed a very sensitive yet happy family film and thought for a second are we done for the day …..don’t feel like that. So I thought of making some beat the heat kinda drink to just fresh up and feel more hydrated , last week I picked few raw mangos from our friends farmhouse (awesome aroma it has ), so thought of using it. I made my mum’s favourite mango Panna . Its a perfect way to hydrate yourself and just feel charged up. My mum is the best cook for me …and we often learn from the ladies of our house to cook. whatever I am today as a cook is all because I spent more time in kitchen observing her . Her recipes are always a hit. Love her more for that. So try this and do enjoy the sips. Ingredients : Raw mangoes 4 medium size, roasted cumin seeds grounded as powder, 1 teaspoon black salt, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon sugar. Servings : 4 Method : Pressure cook the raw mangoes such that it softens so that we can use the pulp only separated from the skin and mashed thoroughly. Once its mashed add sugar and two types of salt , cold water and mix until sugar and salt dissolves. Once done pass this mixture through a sieve and let the smooth liquid pass on. pour the drink in Martini glasses and enjoy the very Indian Mocktail.
